I first created GED4WEB in 1999 when my Genealogy research got too large to update my website by hand each time I
discovered new ancestors. I searched the internet but was unable to find a program to make webpages from my genealogy
information. As you have likely found in your search, there is no other program that create webpages in all four of
the popular formats (Family Group, Decendancy, Pedigree, Notes & Sources). There are others out there now, but none of
them create professional looking webpages, in all four formats, with the push of one button. I take great pride
in keeping GED4WEB a state of the art genealogy webpage creating program. In the years since I first made
this program available, people all over the world have registered the program. It's now being used by people
in over 30 countries.
