Louis Ulrich and Aurelie had one son, Ulrich. Ulrich Papineau was born on August 30, 1853 in Montreal. He married Olesme (Elizabeth) St. Pierre in Muskegon, Michigan on May 25, 1875 at St. Mary's Church. Olesme was born in Montreal on June 8, 1854. She died in Chicago on August 28, 1928. Ulrich died two weeks later, also in Chicago, on September 5, 1928.

Frederick J Papineau (my grandfather) was born in Chicago on January 22, 1980. His first marriage was to Agnes Treacy, in Chicago in 1901. They had three children before she died in Chicago on September, 30, 1916.. The first was a daughter, Agnes Irene, who was born on March 26th, 1903 and died on November 30, 1908. The second was Donald Papineau (my uncle, who was born in 1909 and died in Chicago on December 12, 1978. The third, was my father, Thomas Francis Papineau who was born on January 27, 1913 and died on October 2, 2000. Several years after my original grandmother died in 1916, my grandfather married Margaret Ansell.

Andre and Sophie had two sons. The first, Augustin Camile Papineau was born in St. Hyacinthe on August 7, 1826, was married there in May, 1850, to Mary Ann Lawry and died there on July 5, 1911. Mary Ann was born in 1828 at Touardreth, England. She died in St. Hyacinthe on April 18, 1911. She was the daughter of John Lowry.
Their second son, Louis Ulrich Papineau, was born on July 23, 1832. He married Aurelie Rouillourd. It is assumed that they emigrated to Muskegon Michigan. Louis Ulrich is the one who disappeared in Chicago in 1866.
